Our story

Hiya! We’re Derek & Miranda Dick, the farmers behind Bonnechere Basin Meats.

A 6th generation farmer (Derek) with a passion for cows.. passed his love for cows on to his wife.

Now we both share a love and passion for animals and serving our family homegrown food + working as a team to do so!

We wanted to be able to share the wealth of home grown meats to others that don’t have the option to grow their own.

So, with 4 little cow kids in tow, we’re slowly but surely getting our beef, pork & chicken out to the valley!

We can’t wait for you to try some of our premium farm raised meats!
